Wordpress 2.5 Upgrade Looks Groovy

Testing the new Wordpress 2.5 here on the motivation blog and finding it very powerful. The editor now allows for easy uploading of image files, audio, and other types of media.
While print media newspapers are laying people off, and experiencing the worst drop in ad revenue in 50 years - Wordpress and their open source army is releasing a piece of software that blows away most apps you’d pay hundreds of dollars for.
This is called a clue.

RickButts.net blog is now officially dedicated to motivation, success, personal development, and of course humor.
“I”ve been so torn over how to properly use my Internet marketing consultant blog at Rick Butts .com and squeeze in all the stuff I’m interested about - and it just ain’t working. So henceforth you can subscribe for this blog - and get an occasional update when new power motivation tips or inspirational content is added.
The Big Butts of Life, The Safari Chronicles, The Ancient Library and my audio and video programs will have a new home here - and I am actualy smiling as I write this - knowing that even though it will be a bit of work - it is a labor of love to rediscover the passion for self-help and the books, speakers, and audio programs that have literally saved my life.
Already, writing this has felt like a surrender to my passion and I look forward to you joining me as I give away so many of the ideas that have transformed my life - to you for free.

A Better Life With More Money and Free Time

Each day, we rise from bed and make a series of choices, sove problems and deal with the consequences.
We procrastinate on some big decisions until we can no longer put them off, or until they just make themselves out of our indecision.
Most people know exactly what they want their lives to look like but then make choices that take them in the opposite direction.
Life is, in one sense, a series of choices between sleepy time. And the sum of these between the consciousness of ourselves as autonomous beings, and our death, is a lifetime.
Do you think I’m going to ask you the meaning of life?
No.
I’ve reached my own conclusions on the matter. You’ll have to figure that one out for yourself. You’d spit the bit anyway if I tried to persuade you to my thinking and then we’d just be in a debate and miss the point.
And the point is about what you want the time in between to be made up of.
Many have offered their opinions. Here is mine.
We want a better life, with more money and free time.
A Better Life
“For your life to get better, you don’t need to always make the best decisions, you simply need to make better decisions.” Dr. Spencer S. Johnson Yes or No - The Guide to Better Decisions.
Of all the human emotions that that I admire - there are few as powerful as hope.
Hope looks to something better. The choices we make in our days hold the hope of making things better.
Even in the most difficult times, the most painful loss, the hope of better lifts our heads and hearts and makes life worth living.
We want things to get better.
More Money

It’s coarse, but it’s true. Money has gotten a bad name, and blamed for all sorts of evils, but it is way ahead of whatever is in second place.
I’ve had a lot of money - and I’ve been dead broke. Money is better. It gives us options and leads us to our third desire of life.
Free Time
This sounds like the lazy man’s national anthem but, I mean it in a much deeper sense. Free time is time that is otherwise not committed, to the work of making money or carving out our existance.
The opposite of free time can be an enslavement, a penalty for a bad choice, or just the natural law of trade offs we make to eek out our daily bread.
Work is noble, valuable, and a life of nothing to do - is a dreadful existence with no meaning and no higher contribution.
Remember, we are talking about how we want our lives to look on a daily basis - in between sleepy time.
Free time and the expansion of it - means FREEDOM to pursue other choices.
This I Offer You
I have written 3 books on personal growth, success, motivation, and 5 books on making money on the Internet. I have also been a professional musician, financial consultant licensed by the SEC, business conultant, and attended seminary and the pastor / minister of a “blue jeans” Christian church in Houston Texas.
My life pursuit has been to find solutions that work - and teach them to others in a way that helps their business and their lives to get better.
My great synthesis of these ideas - is to combine making money online, at home, is the best business opportunity (WAY better than a job) along with growing in personal success and helping others - is the very best way to achieve the 3 things that make life (in between sleepy time) very, very valuable.
These I will do my very best to deliver to you - in the hopes that you’ll be able to use these ideas to make better decisons, have a better life, with more money and free time.
